We will be celebrating Orgyan Dzong’s 34th anniversary with various rituals and ceremonies honoring Peling Rinpoche, the centre’s founder, and Padmasambhava, the patriarch of Tibetan Buddhism whose birthday falls on the same day the centre was founded on July 7, 1984. Our celebrations will include abundant offering rituals to the Gurus, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Dharma Protectors and all sentient beings, a ritual of purification and recollection of the state of realization, and the offering of lamps. By means of these ceremonies, we will be marking the auspicious occasion of the centre’s 34th year, expressing our gratitude to its founder and the lineage of enlightened gurus whose teachings we practice and make auspicious prayers for the centre, the world, and all its beings.
